Shipmates raises $500,000 (P25M) from Y Combinator

Shipmates has raised $500,000 (P25 million) in seed funding from Y Combinator, and will be part of the S22 batch!

Y Combinator (YC) is one of the world’s most prestigious startup incubators and has backed amazing startups such as Airbnb, Stripe, and Reddit. Shipmates will be the 8th startup from the Philippines to be accepted in the Silicon Valley based startup accelerator, joining our fellow Filipino-founded startups like Kalibrr, PayMongo, Avion School, NextPay, and MadEats.

Shipmates is a courier aggregator that connects any online channel (Shopify, WooCommerce, Social Stores) to both standard and on-demand couriers. Our technology addresses the pain of manually booking couriers one by one and dropping off packages at a courier center. The investment will help us reach our goal of improving the shipping process for the 15M online SMEs in the Philippines.
